GOP presidential candidate, Donald Trump’s campaign alleged that a recent hack against his campaign was perpetrated by the “Iranians”. Trump, who attended a campaign event in York on Aug 19th, reiterated the allegations recently via his campaign team. Trump and his team even went as far as to insinuate that the Iranians were also to blame for his foiled assassination attempt.

In a failed attempt to change tact, Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump held a press conference at his golf club in New Jersey, where he attempted to stick only to talking about the economy. Trump presented a wide-range of groceries and food items, going on to provide manufactured and false statistics on how the cost of basic goods has gone up in America—trying to show how bad the economy has gotten under the Biden/Harris administration. Polls indicate that the economy is the biggest election issue for American voters, hence Trump’s focus on the issue.
He also went on to shade Biden and Harris, saying that he is angry with them for trying to jail him—maintaining “I did nothing wrong“. He also claimed that he has a “gag order” from a judge in one of his cases. President Biden had earlier called him “Donald Dump” as he and Harris announced drug cost reductions. Trump also shaded Kamala, saying that she’s had all the time to effect legislations and policy changes she’s been campaigning on.
On being asked a question by the press on whether he feels he should change the campaign strategy of personal attack against his opponents, Trump said “I’m entitled to personal attacks,” and that Kamala and Walz called him “weird“. He also recognized that Harris has clawed back his lead in the polls saying, “I am leading, maybe tied“.

These events are strange as Politico recently reported getting sensitive Trump campaign data from an unknown person or entity. Microsoft had also reported an Iranian hack on a prominent political figure, without providing any details. Trump’s campaign alluded to Trump being the one who was being referred to by Microsoft.
