It was a day of fives in the EPL yesterday after Fulham, Everton, and Nottingham Forest secured wins in the last of EPL GW 35 games. As things are shaping up, there is heated competition even in the middle and bottom of the EPL table as the league now only has 3 game weeks to go.
It’s Five For Fulham as they Beat Leicester in EPL GW 35
Fulham put on a very strong performance to beat Leicester City 5-3 in the last games of EPL GW 35. Leicester were also playing well but lacked the fervor that Fulham was having an abundance of. The game saw both teams pitted against each other at a time when they are both in need of as many additional points and goals as possible to improve the EPL Table rankings.

Braces for Willian and Tom Cairney as Fulham beat Leicester
Former Chelsea and Arsenal winger Willian scored a brace for Fulham. He opened the scoring in the 10th minute. He then scored his second in the 70th minute. Carlos Vinicius also went in with a superb strike in the 18th minute to make it 3. The braces were not done, however, as Tom Cairney also scored a brace in the match. Cairney scored his first in the 44th minute, following it up with his second in the 51st minute.
A Brace for Leicester’s Harvey Barnes
The game saw yet another brace, this time from Leicester City’s Harvey Barnes who scored a double for his team. Barnes scored his first in the 59th minute, following it up with his second in the 89th minute. James Maddison scored Leicester’s third goal by way of a penalty in the 81st minute.

The performance was a commendable improvement for Leicester who seem to be just finding themselves as the season is winding down. Fulham are now tenth in the EPL Table with 48 points while Leicester are eighteenth with 30 points.
Everton Hammer Brighton a Good 5
It was a day of another 5 goals as Everton hammered Brighton 5-1. Brighton who’d been performing relatively well until now, were in for a rude shock after Everton, the seeming sleeping giant, woke and gave them a thumping. Everton’s performance was phenomenal and is what we’d hoped to see from them the entire season. They are now out of the relegation zone, looking to gain as much as can still be gained in the remaining weeks.
Braces for Abdoulaye Doucoure and Dwight McNeil as Everton Hammer Brighton
The games saw a double brace from a blazing-hot Everton who played like it was the World Cup finals. Abdoulaye Doucoure was quick to score his brace, starting off with his first goal in the 1st minute and making it two in the 29th minute.

Everton played so well that Brighton even scored an own goal that was put in by Jason Steele in the 35th minute. Dwight McNeil then went on to score his first in the 76th minute, following it up with his second in stoppage time. Everton are seventeenth in the EPL Table with 32 points as Brighton are seventh with 55 points.
Nottingham Forest Beat Southampton
The race to avoid relegation for Nottingham Forest and Southampton was hard fought, as both teams went head-to-head with the sole point of acquiring the three all-important points and as many goals as possible. Nottm Forest were successful and managed to beat Southampton 4-3.

A Brace for Taiwo Awoniyi as Nottm Forest Beat Southampton
Nottm Forest’s Taiwo Awoniyi was the star of the match, going on to score a brace for Nottm. Awoniyi opened the scoring for Nottm in the 18th minute and followed it up with his second goal in the 21st minute. Morgan Gibbs-White then converted a penalty in the 44th minute to make it 3 for Nottingham, with Danilo sealing the lead in the 70th minute.
On Southampton’s part, Carlos Alcaraz scored their first reply goal in the 25th minute, followed by Lyanco who made it two in the 51st minute. James Ward-Prowse scored their third in stoppage time. Nottingham Forest are now 16th in the EPL Table with 33 points as Southampton remain twentieth with 24 points.
