Spain Beat England to Win UEFA Euro 2024
Spain beat England 2-1 becoming the champions of UEFA Euro 2024. Nico Williams opened the scoring for the Spaniards in the 47th minute before England and Chelsea forward Cole Palmer equalized in the 73rd minute.

Lamine Yamal broke a 66-year-old record set by the late Brazilian legend Pele when he was selected for Spain’s starting XI for the final against England. He is now the youngest player to play in a major international final at just 17 years and one day old.

Pele previously set the record in 1958 when he played in that year’s World Cup at only 17 years and 249 days old. Lamine is a very promising and very young player who Barcelona are sure has the opportunity to become the next Messi.

Second Consecutive UEFA Euro Final Loss for England
England have now suffered their second consecutive UEFA Euro Final loss following their loss to Spain in the Euro 2024 Final. England did play well but Spain had the edge. Come 2026, it will have been 60 years since England won the UEFA Euros.
