Sevilla and Roma are on to the Europa League final after thrilling performances in the UEFA Europa League Semifinals. Roma had an easier time as they drew Leverkusen in the second leg of the semifinals, with Sevilla having to fight hard to edge past Juventus.

Sevilla Edge Past Juventus to get to the Europa League Final for the 7th Time
Sevilla, on their part, managed to edge past Juventus in the Europa League second leg. Sevilla have had an impeccable run and have now secured a ticket to Budapest, where they’ll face Roma in the Europa League Final on the 31st of May. It will be their 7th time in a UEL final, and they have won the title the last six times they were there.

Suso and Erik Lamela Put Sevilla Ahead
Sevilla managed a 2-1 win against Juve, with Suso putting them ahead in the 71st minute. Dusan Vlahovic had already put rivals Juve ahead in the 55th minute, with Sevilla now needing another goal to break the deadlock.

The deadlock persisted, forcing the game into extra time. Erik Lamela, however, came to Sevilla’s rescue, with a phenomenal strike in the 95th minute. Sevilla’s Acuna was sent off in extra time after a second yellow card due to timewasting.
