The UCL Milan Derby was played yesterday as Inter Milan went up against AC Milan in the 1st leg of the UEFA Champions League Semifinals. Suffice to say, Intr Milan edged past AC Milan, marking a tough contest to come in the second leg of the UCL Semifinals. Here’s all the action.

We were treated to some thrilling football yesterday with the fantastic UCL Milan Derby. Things got on pretty fast with Inter’s Edin Dzeko netting in Inter’s first goal in the eighth minute.
Before we all could get a breather, including AC Milan, Henrikh Mkhitaryan made it two for Inter with another superb goal just three minutes later. He played so well that he got the Man of the Match trophy.

AC Milan were too pressed throughout the game and could not score a reply goal. They made one or two good attempts but their efforts proved futile.

Impeccable Display by Inter in the UCL Semifinals 1st Leg
Inter played impeccably well. We were treated to some really really good football. I am even concerned for whoever wins in the other Semifinal between Real Madrid and Man City as if they go on to meet Inter Milan in the Champions League Final, they’ll be in for a rude shock.

Inter’s Coach Simone Inzaghi Shows Tactical Prowess by Replacing Romelu Lukaku with Edin Dzeko
Going into the game, we wondered why Inter’s coach Simone Inzaghi opted for Edin Dzeko and not Romelu Lukaku in attack. As it turns out, his gamble was right as Dzeko scored for Inter, marking one of the two important goals; and Lukaku gets a chance to rest and be as lethal as possible in their second-leg matchup with AC Milan. AC Milan will also need to sharpen their attack and defense if they are going to upend Inter’s lead in the second leg.

UCL Semifinals 2nd Leg Milan Derby Prediction
