Man United Nick Everton as Chelsea are Overpowered by Wolves in EPL GW 30

Manchester United did what was only right and nicked Everton in EPL GW 30 with a new-guard Chelsea overpowered by Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tottenham also pulled up their socks this time and beat Brighton in their EPL GW 30 matchup. Here are the results from EPL GW 30, even as the action is ongoing.

‘The Red Devils’ were actually devilish today and red with blood after nicking Everton 2-0. I know that is a gory sight but it is the Man United we expect to see: fierce and unforgiving.

United’s goals came from McTominay who opened the scoring in the 36th minute, a goal we’d seen coming since United’s last game. The second goal came from a fabulous strike by Anthony Martial in the 71st minute. Martial hasn’t gotten many play minutes of late but whatever he got today he made do with.

Are Manchester United Making a Comeback?

Well, not yet. Man United are not there yet. Yes, they are improving and very much so in this game but we are yet to see Sir Alex Ferguson Man United. What’s even more distressing is that, at this rate, we may never see it. I don’t mean to sound pessimistic but United are just not where we’d want them to be yet.

Chelsea Overpowered by Wolves in EPL GW 30

Chelsea, who recently sacked their manager Graham Potter and appointed former team legend Frank Lampard as a caretaker coach, were overpowered today by a lethal Wolves who didn’t seem to care for the change of guard at the club. Wolves were keen to quickly pounce and did so in the 31st minute via a superb Matheus Nunes strike. Read about Chelsea’s new caretaker manager Frank Lampard below.

Nunes’s strike was so good that it is actually one of the best goals we have seen so far this season. The superb strike was Nunes’s first goal for Wolves, endearing him to the club’s fans. Unfortunately, Nunes was injured in the last minutes of the game and had to be helped get off the pitch. We wish him a quick recovery.

Tottenham Beat Brighton

In another of EPL GW 30’s anticipated matchups, Tottenham beat Brighton 2-1, thanks to the dynamic duo. Son Heung-Min opened scoring for Tottenham in the 10th minute, with the other half of the dynamic duo, Harry Kane, scoring the second in the 79th minute. Brighton’s only reply came from Lewis Dunk in the 34th minute.

Other EPL GW 30 Results: Aston Villa, Newcastle, West Ham, and Bournemouth Shine in their Respective Games

In other EPL GW 30 results, Aston Villa beat Nottingham Forest 2-0, thanks to goals by Bertrand Traore and Ollie Watkins. Newcastle beat Brentford 2-1, thanks to an own goal (OG) by David Ryan and a goal by Alexander Isak.

Brentford only managed a single reply goal thanks to Ivan Toney who converted a penalty just before half-time. Toney had earlier missed another, his first penalty miss for this season and in 23 games for Brentford.

West Ham beat Fulham 1-0, thanks to a Harrison Reed own goal in the 23rd minute. Bournemouth, on their part, beat Leicester City 1-0, thanks to a Philip Billing goal in the 40th minute. Leicester have continually been shoddy this season.
