In another heartbreaking episode of the angels we’ve lost, South African Hip Hop/Amapiano artist, dancer, and rising star Costa Tsobanoglou, alias Costa Titch, is no more. Costa Titch died while performing on stage at the Ultra Music Festival that was held on Saturday in Johannesburg. Costa was 27 years old and hailed from Nelspruit in Mpumalanga Province.
Second-Time Defeat: SA Rapper Costa Titch Dies While Performing on Stage at the Ultra Music Festival
Costa Titch, while on stage, collapsed for the first time in apparent fainting but was immediately picked up by one of the guys who was with him on stage. The second time, however, he collapsed off the stage and everyone can be seen rushing to go help him in the video of his performance. Reports indicate that this time he had to be carried away and was later pronounced dead. Watch the moment he collapsed below.

Costa Titch’s Family Releases a Statement Following His Death
Costa Titch’s family have, since his death, released a statement on his Instagram expressing their dismay at the loss of their beloved son. The family has thanked his friends and first responders at the scene, and also his fans for uplifting him. The Costa Family has also asked for space and time to gather themselves, and to be kept in our prayers. We extend our most heartfelt condolences to the family and pray that God gives them the grace to push on in these difficult times. Read their statement below.
