Last-Minute Penalty Denies Man United Crucial Win
Manchester United were playing satisfactorily well against Brighton, who’d they’d defeated in the semi-finals of the FA Cup on penalties, only for a late foul by Luke Shaw to hand Brighton an opportunity to take the three points.
Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister did not hesitate at the opportunity and put Brighton ahead with a strong penalty conversion in the last minute of stoppage time (90+9). Mac Allister is being scouted by Liverpool and his team are set to be in talks with the club in the coming weeks.

Brighton’s win weakens Man United’s footing in the top four of the EPL, as they do their best to wade off Liverpool who are fifth with 59 points. Man United sit in fourth place with 63 points in the Premier League table as Brighton are in sixth place with 55 points. All this as Man United manager Erik ten Hag shared optimism that the team, given that he is given a good budget to work with, is looking to bolster the squad this upcoming transfer window.

Man City Win in their Game in Hand Against West Ham
Manchester City reclaimed the EPL top spot after they won their game in hand against West Ham 3-0. City were as strong as ever and their goal machine, record-breaking player Erling Haaland was sure to score and add to his now over 50 goals this season. Haaland is a G.O.A.T, no doubt, and Man City are enjoying the fruits of his prowess.

City’s Push for a Treble
Nathan Ake put City in the lead in the 49th minute, as Haaland made it 2-0 with a brilliant chip and a well-timed strike in the 70th minute, with Phil Foden finishing the job in the 85th minute. Manchester City are playing really well, even as they attempt to win a treble, i.e. the English Premier League, FA Cup, and UEFA Champions League.

Liverpool Win their Game in Hand Against Fulham in Postponed EPL GW 28 Games
Liverpool went on to assert a late-season comeback with their 1-0 win against Fulham in postponed EPL GW 28 games. Liverpool were looking very sharp, as were Fulham, with their game ultimately decided by a penalty kick. Mohamed Salah effectively converted the penalty in the 39th minute, seizing the opportunity for goal, and propelling Liverpool to fifth in the EPL Table, now with 59 points.
