The English Premier League is nearing the close of the season with only 8 gameweeks left. It has been an interesting season and it’s only getting heated up. Here are EPL gameweek 29 and 30 results.
Arsenal Beat Leicester to Go to Fourth in the EPL Table
Arsenal beat Leicester 2-0 to go to fourth in the EPL table, unseating Manchester United who fell to fifth and later 6th. In other matches on Sunday the 13th, West Ham beat Aston Villa 2-1, Watford beat Southampton 2-1, as did Leeds who beat Norwich City 2-1. Wolves beat Everton 1-0, similar to Chelsea who beat Newcastle 1-0.
Surprising Draw for Manchester City
Manchester City surprisingly drew 0-0 with Crystal Palace on Monday the 14th. Liverpool came out strong to beat Arsenal 2-0 while Spurs similarly beat Brighton 2-0. On the 17th, Everton beat Newcastle 1-0.
EPL Gameweek 30 Results – EPL 21/22
Starting on the 18th of March, gameweek 30 of the English Premier League kicked off with Leeds beating Wolves 3-2. On the 19th Arsenal beat Aston Villa 1-0 while on the 20th Spurs beat West Ham 3-1 and Leicester beat Brentford 2-1.
EPL Standings
Man City are still on top of the EPL table with 70 points, narrowly leading as Liverpool are a close second with 69 points. The league lead is very fragile at this point and could tilt in Liverpool’s favor. Chelsea are third with 59 points, followed by Arsenal who are fourth with 54 points.
Spurs are 5th, unseating Man United, with 51 points. Manchester United dropped to sixth with 50 points, followed by West Ham who are seventh with 48 points. Wolves are eighth with 46 points, followed by Aston Villa who are ninth with 36 points. Leicester are tenth also with 36 points, followed by Southampton who are eleventh with 35 points.
