Manchester City are at it again and this time handed Liverpool the humble pie after beating them 4-1 in EPL GW 29. The victory is the 7th consecutive victory for Man City in the Premier League. The highlight of the match was Jack Grealish’s goal, his first for Man City at home.
Jack in the Box: Grealish’s Best Game Yet
Grealish played phenomenally and the game today against Liverpool was his best yet. He assisted City’s first goal by Julian Alvarez in the 27th minute and scored his own in the 74th minute. To the delight of Pep Guardiola and City fans, it finally looks like the hefty transfer sum they paid for Grealish is paying off. Grealish played so well that Erling Haaland’s absence in the game was barely felt. City’s other goals came from Kevin de Bruyne in the 46th minute and Ilkay Gundogan in the 53rd minute.
A Liverpool Down Under
Liverpool are at a loss. The team is at such a low point that we wonder whether Jurgen Klopp’s career will survive. Liverpool are having a terrible terrible season and we wonder what needs to be done to get them back on a solid footing. There have been speculations that the club will need to break the bank this upcoming transfer window, but we are worried that that may not be the panacea to all of Liverpool’s problems.
The Premier League is Back
