- UpdraftPlus: Schedule automatic backups to cloud storage. Good-enough free plan and can backup to remote storage such as Google Drive, etc.
- BackupBuddy: A premium option with robust features. Haven’t used this one so I may not be in a position to point out effectiveness.

2. Slow Database Queries
A slow WordPress database can be very frustrating. Your admin pages will be laggy, the front end will also falter in performance, and you may end up spending months trying to optimize.
If you’re running a WooCommerce site, dynamic pages such as ‘cart’, ‘checkout’, and ‘my-account’ pages will take ages to load—pushing away users, limiting sales, and dissuading search engines from indexing your content.
Symptoms: Pages take forever to load, especially dynamic content.
Fix: Use Query Monitor to identify slow queries and optimize them.

Redis caches database objects, ensuring that consequent requests are fetched from that cache, and not re-queried from the database.

Redis would allow the server to cache this data, and then just deliver it from its cache on similar, subsequent requests. Setting up Redis yourself, however, can be quite tricky, especially since most web host either don’t support it on their servers—or don’t care to set it up correctly.
